This 12-month Chief Information Officer (CIO) executive certificate program has been designed in partnership with the U.S. General Services Administration’s CIO University to meet the needs of midcareer and senior-level government and private-sector IT professionals. The curriculum provides a senior-level focus on the management and leadership challenges that are faced by 21st century leaders in the rapidly changing information technology (IT) industry. Encompassing all the competencies cited in the Information Technology Management and Reform Act (Clinger-Cohen) and identified by the Federal CIO council, the program covers all areas of management required to effectively lead the design, development, acquisition, implementation, planning and maintenance of an organization’s information technology structure.
